Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Radiographer - MRI for The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes. This 36-hour-per-week, part-time role offers a permanent contract and a salary up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience, training and qualifications.

You will join a multidisciplinary Imaging team, perform diagnostic MRI procedures, ensure image quality, and provide a patient-centred service while adhering to IR(ME)R and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Postgraduate experience or additional training in a specialist area (e.g., CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures following referrals and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and minimise repeats.
• Adapt techniques to meet the needs of individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics, and patients with limited mobility.
• Provide a safe, dignified, and person-centred service, ensuring patients are informed, comfortable, and reassured.
• Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any signs of deterioration.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained, and used safely and effectively, reporting faults promptly.
• Assist in the implementation and use of new imaging technologies, techniques, and digital systems (e.g., PACS, RIS).
• Work closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently and maintain smooth patient pathways.
