Permanent / Contract: BANK SHIFTS

Salary range: £30 per hour

Full time/part time: BANK SHIFTS, Mon – Friday

We are currently recruiting for Radiographers to work on our bank. You will be flexible to work bank shifts at the Basinghall Clinic in the City Of London. Reporting to the Superintendent Radiographer, you'll work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging - showing flexibility and an adaptive working attitude is crucial to enable us to deliver an outstanding service to our patients.


The Basinghall Clinic
This is the Cromwell Hospital's satellite site based in the City of London. Here we offer a range of outpatient services to include; Mammograms, GP services, Health Assessments, and Physiotherapy.
The MRI Department at Basinghall clinic comprises a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI scanner which is operational between 08:00-18:00 hrs Monday to Friday. The department also comprises a Siemens Fusion DR X-ray system.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Creating and maintaining good working relationships with all members of the Diagnostic Imaging Department team, working positively to develop a cohesive team.
  • Promoting good relations with Referring Clinicians, other hospital departments, and outside organisations to ensure that the reputation of the Radiology Department is upheld.
  • Being fully conversant with the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS systems, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation.
  • Reporting all accidents, untoward occurrences, or problems to the Superintendent Radiographer and recording such incidents according to Hospital policy.
  • Ensuring that you are aware of, and conversant with, the Health and Safety at Work Act and comply with the regulations set down to ensure safety for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
  • Substantial MRI experience (essential)
  • Desirable to be Siemens MRI trained in neuro, body, and ortho MRI.
  • Demonstrable experience in Contrast MRI (essential)
  • Cannulation
  • Ability to work under pressure and direct and achieve results
