Job description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our dedicated radiology team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic images and excellent patient care. You will be expected to:

Responsibilities
  • Run orthopaedic, general, and MRI contrast scan lists independently.
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of MRI safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and colleagues.
  • Work during our operational hours (Monday to Friday).
  • Deliver high-quality MRI imaging while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.
  • Ensure all imaging is performed in line with current scanning protocols and best practice.
  • Manage radiology bookings efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete RIS/PACS processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and care in accordance with Ramsay Health Care policies.
  • Report equipment faults and escalate departmental issues promptly.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).
  • Proven MRI experience in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and patient care.
Desirable
  • MRI Postgraduate Certificate or equivalent qualification.
