MRI Radiographer

We are seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our dedicated radiology team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic images and excellent patient care.

Please note - part time applications can be considered

Main duties of the job

Run orthopaedic, general, and MRI contrast scan lists independently.

Demonstrate detailed knowledge of MRI safety protocols, policies, and procedures.

Work closely and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and colleagues.

Work during our operational hours (Monday to Friday).

At Clifton Park Hospital, our Radiology Department is equipped with modern, high-spec technology, including a Siemens Sola 1.5T MRI scanner (installed in August 2022), two Philips digital x-ray rooms, ultrasound services, and mobile CT facilities. Job responsibilities

Ensure all imaging is performed in line with current scanning protocols and best practice.

Manage radiology bookings efficiently and effectively.

Complete RIS/PACS processes in a timely and accurate manner.

Uphold patient confidentiality and care in accordance with Ramsay Health Care policies.

Report equipment faults and escalate departmental issues promptly.

Person Specification
Experience
  • Proven MRI experience in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and patient care.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council).
