Overview

To perform clinical MRI scans to produce diagnostic information appropriately as required by current protocols. To maintain the highest standard of practical and theoretical knowledge to ensure a standard of excellence in MRI techniques, so that protocols may be modified in an appropriate manner in view of clinical indications, imaging findings or patient condition and problems in image quality are recognized and acted upon. To be able to keep the department standards and ability to go above and beyond, improving the service with new ideas and new skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical MRI scans to produce diagnostic information in line with current protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of practical and theoretical knowledge to ensure excellence in MRI techniques.
  • Modify protocols appropriately in response to clinical indications, imaging findings, or patient condition; recognize and act on problems with image quality.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving department standards and service quality, including adopting new ideas and skills as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
  • MRI experience, ideally across a range of clinical areas.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused while delivering care in a high-demand environment.
  • Proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to clinical excellence and continuous self-development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with radiologists, clinicians, and fellow radiographers.
