MRI Radiographer

Glasgow Hospital | Radiology | Permanent contract | Full time

Up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As an MRI Radiographer at our Glasgow Hospital, you’ll need a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification is desirable, SOR IV cannulation certificate, and at least 3 years of MRI experience, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

As an MRI Radiographer, you will:

  1. See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy.
  2. Work independently when required, performing high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations while observing current MRI Local Rules.
  3. Assist the MRI Lead Radiographer with the day-to-day operational management of the MRI Department, ensuring the smooth running of the MRI scanning schedule.
  4. Participate in service development and training of new radiographers.
  5. Ensure the highest quality service delivery with sensitivity and compassion.
