As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification, and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

As a Senior Radiographer, you will:

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward, and in theatre
• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities
• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital.

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre, and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. The hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgeries, which we have become well known for in this field.
