An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Radiographer to lead the MRI department at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital (GJUNH). Full-time hours are preferred, but 0.8 WTE will be considered.
GJUNH provides essential imaging services for patients across Scotland, including specialist imaging at the West of Scotland Cardiothoracic Centre. The department features 4 MRI scanners, 2 CT scanners, 5 Cardiac Cath Labs, and various other imaging facilities.
The MRI Lead Radiographer will manage three Siemens MRI scanners, working closely with the Cardiac MRI Lead Radiographer to deliver high-quality patient care and reduce waiting times. The role involves staff management, service development, and collaboration within a team of skilled Radiographers.
The department supports continuous professional development through structured CPD programmes, clinical supervision, and opportunities for research and leadership development. The role is suitable for those with MRI leadership experience or experienced rotational MRI Radiographers passionate about improvement.
