Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an MRI Support Assistant to join the MRI department across our three sites: Royal Hallamshire, Northern General & Weston Park Hospitals. You will assist radiographers, nurses and radiologists, provide patient care, manage lists, accompany patients, and help maintain MRI safety and equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support within the MRI department.
• Organise lists and coordinate appointments across sites.
• Support patients and accompany them during procedures (chaperoning).
• Assist with moving, handling and cannulation after training.
• Maintain MRI safety and assist with room preparation and restocking.
