Job summary

TIC Health is seeking a Cross-Sectional Radiographer to deliver high-quality MRI and CT imaging across Reading and other TIC Health sites. You will prepare patients, perform scans, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires flexible travel between TIC Health imaging locations, maintaining patient comfort and accurate documentation in RIS/PACS. You will continue CPD and adhere to HCPC standards in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing CT and/or MRI examinations in a clinical imaging environment.
• Autonomous practitioner with multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Experience using RIS, SEMBLE, CIMAR and PACS.
• Ability to manage workload and travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI and CT examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and best practice guidelines.
• Work at Reading site with flexible across TIC Health imaging sites, travelling between locations to support operational needs.
• Ensure all imaging examinations are conducted safely and in compliance with IR(ME)R regulations and radiation safety standards.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI and CT procedures while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using RIS/PACS.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and service improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to support efficient patient pathways.
