Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an experienced MR Reporting Radiographer to join our radiology team. You will autonomously interpret MR brain scans in patients with first presentation brain metastasis and provide leadership to a team of radiographers across four scanners.

As a senior member you will drive adoption of advanced MR techniques, collaborate with clinicians, and contribute to audits and research to enhance cancer care delivery within an innovative NHS

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is mandatory.
• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent is required.
• Strong background in MR imaging and oncology context is essential.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously interpret and report MR brain scans in patients with first presentation brain metastasis.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of radiographers, promoting professional growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Drive implementation of new MR technologies and techniques.
