Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an experienced MR Clinical Trials Radiographer (CTR) to join our team supporting over 450 cancer research studies.

You will perform MR imaging, collaborate with radiologists and oncologists, and participate in screening brain metastases in MRI, while contributing to audits and quality improvement initiatives. This 1.0 WTE post is split 0.5 FTE with the clinical trials team and 0.5 FTE clinically in the diagnostic MR department.

Qualifications

• Experience as MR radiographer in clinical setting preferred.
• Interest in research and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Undertake MR imaging and support the delivery of the clinical service.
• Participate in CPD and other developmental activities.
• Clinical supervision of radiography students.
• Assist in radiographer-led screening for brain metastases in MRI.
• Participate in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives.
