The post combines clinical leadership with governance, policy development and continuous improvement to ensure evidence-based practice and compliant moving and handling across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Significant experience applying manual handling theory in a mental health care environment.
• Planning, delivering and evaluating clinical training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Trust-wide leadership for moving and handling practice, education, risk management and equipment governance.
• Analyse incidents, training compliance and audit outcomes to inform improvement priorities.
• Support safe systems of work across inpatient, community and specialist services.
