Position Overview

U-Relax is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Movers. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of local residential and commercial moves. This position requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items from trucks.
• Pack and unpack belongings with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring a positive moving experience.
• Adhere to U-Relax's safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks and complete moves in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on and off the trucks.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver\'s license is a mandatory requirement.
• Working cell phone.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Previous experience in professional moving services is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as needed.

Worth Noting

We DO NOT work nights. It is very rare we ever start a job after 5 pm. Majority of our work is completed between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. Days vary based on job. There is no set hourly schedule. If you are looking for a consistent 9 to 5, this job is not for you.
