Job description

Moulding Technician in Great Yarmouth

Technique Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be working on behalf of a leading leading provider of high-quality underwater acoustic solutions for customers working in both inland waterway and marine hydrographic surveying, dredging and marine-research fields.

Main Responsibilities:
Soldering with lead free solder
Has a consistent attention to detail even when completing repetitive tasks
Is open to new training even if they have previous experience
An understanding of engineering drawings
Able to work as part of a close knit team
Aware of health and safety importance
General computer skills
Any previous skills of moulding would be an advantage

• Manufacture of wiring assemblies, sub-assemblies and final products
• Packing goods for dispatch
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements are observed
• The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated to achieve the company goals

Essential skills:
• Building electronic assemblies and Cable laying
• Be able to solder to IPC standards and be confident with crimping techniques
• Be able to follow engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high quality products
• Good level of computer literacy and use of Microsoft office
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to continue to learn and develop
• Excellent team player
