Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated Moulding Operative to join their Workshop team in Aldershot. Reporting to the Production Team Leader, this role involves operating rubber moulding machines, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Hours: 4 Day working week, 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday
  • Holidays: 20 days per year (pro-rata) plus bank holidays

Responsibilities
  • Daily running of designated rubber moulding machines in line with business demands
  • Assist in training new and existing operators on machine operation and paperwork
  • Report machine faults, inefficiencies, and issues to the Production Supervisor
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork (WIP, W/O, Press Control Forms, log books, etc.)
  • Maintain machinery in safe, clean and fully operational condition
  • Participate in problem-solving and process improvement activities
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with audit requirements
  • Work flexibly across departments when required
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures and the company code of practice
Experience and Requirements
  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Ability to follow strict health & safety and quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling and performing tasks requiring dexterity
  • Positive, flexible attitude with willingness to learn and contribute to team goals
