Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to tackle various technical and engineering challenges. Your role is crucial and will significantly contribute to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing applications.
  • Develop detailed system architectures and specifications meeting or exceeding product requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to create innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate and select components and technologies from external suppliers.
  • Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and presentations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration, with multidisciplinary system design experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with automotive, motorsports, and aerodynamics testing.
  • Familiarity with system simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).

  • Knowledge of control systems and theory.
