Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize solutions to technical challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
  • Create detailed system architectures and specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
  • Evaluate and select components and technologies from external suppliers.
  • Conduct testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Manage the delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with proven success.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary system design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
