Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing technical solutions to meet engineering challenges and contribute to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do:
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
  • Develop system architectures and specifications aligned with product requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to create innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, evaluate components, and select suitable technologies.
  • Conduct testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Manage prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a successful track record.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary system design and integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
