Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize technical solutions, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

This role offers the opportunity to showcase your engineering talents, apply your skills, drive innovation, and connect lessons from racing to production vehicles, helping shape the future of motorsports.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
  • Develop system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to create innovative solutions.
  • Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select components.
  • Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Master’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
