Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. The successful candidate will develop mechatronic systems to enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to technical and engineering challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
  • Create system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop solutions.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for component selection.
  • Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging.
  • Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
