Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronic systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize solutions addressing technical and engineering challenges, contributing significantly to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
  • Create detailed system architectures and specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop solutions.
  • Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select components.
  • Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging.
  • Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, and software integration.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
