Job summary

Get Up Studio is seeking an Editor to create engaging, platform-specific content for Formula E and support the wider post-production team. This fully remote editing role involves turning race action, interviews and behind-the-scenes moments into compelling content, with a focus on social-first storytelling.

You should have 2–4 years' experience editing video content, a strong instinct for storytelling and competent After Effects skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience editing video content, ideally in sport.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong social editing.
• Experience editing social content and competent use of After Effects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and mid-form social content, shaping supplied footage into clear, engaging stories.
• Build strong openings, maintain pace and use music, sound and captions to hold attention.
• Tailor edits to each platform, including the right duration, aspect ratio, framing and delivery format.
• Edit race coverage, driver interviews, press conferences, race reactions and VNR compilations for broadcast and media syndication.
• Work closely with producers and the wider content team to understand briefs, respond to feedback and deliver on time.
• Bring fresh ideas, references and approaches to the edit, informed by social trends and audience behaviour.
