DHL Global Forwarding UK is seeking a Motorsport Logistics Support role to assist day-to-day operations for the motorsport planning team. No prior experience required as full training will be provided, enabling the candidate to coordinate transport and documentation effectively.

You will support UK domestic transport, liaise with hauliers, book ferries for Europe, and help ensure regulatory compliance. A strong focus on accuracy, teamwork, and adaptability is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and book UK domestic transport on behalf of the Motorsport planning team.
• Liaise with hauliers and Planning Team to ensure timely vehicle movements.
• Book ferry crossings for European routes and support international transport activities.
• Assist with preparation of transport documentation (GMR, CMR, Carnets).
• Ensure tachograph data from drivers is captured and stored per regulatory compliance.
• Provide general administrative support to the transport operations team.
• Maintain accurate records and databases as required.
• Ensure interactions comply with DHL Code of Conduct and compliance rules.
• Contribute to the First-Choice continuous improvement program.

Role Overview

Join our dynamic Motorsports Logistics Team and be part of one of the most thrilling sectors in transportation - international motorsport logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to begin a career in logistics. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Motorsport Planners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and book UK domestic transport on behalf of the Motorsport planning team
• Liaise directly with hauliers and our Planning Team to ensure timely vehicle movements
• Book ferry crossings for European routes and support international transport activities
• Assist with the preparation of transport documentation, including GMR, CMR, and Carnets, ensuring compliance with customs and Motorsport event requirements
• Ensure tachograph data from drivers is captured and stored in line with regulatory compliance
• Provide general administrative support to the transport operations team
• Assist with maintaining accurate records and databases as required
• Ensures that all interactions are compliant with DPDHL Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements e.g. anti-corruption
• Contribute to the First-Choice continuous improvement program
