Catapult is seeking a Software Engineer (Motorsport) to join the London-based team. You will help grow RaceWatch capabilities for elite-level racing series and contribute across the RaceWatch suite, working closely with product managers and customers.

You should have 2+ years in a fast-paced environment, strong C/C++ or OO language experience, and a passion for sport. The role may involve weekend events and cross-functional collaboration in a high-performance setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a related technical subject.
• Strong interest in sport and motorsport.
• 2+ years in a fast-paced, technical environment delivering software to customers.
• Proven track record in C/C++ or another OO language.
• Experience building, scaling, and supporting products across their lifecycle.
• Able to work with complex data and communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of RaceWatch software for one or more motorsport series.
• Collaborate with product managers and customers to design features and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to add innovative features to the software.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Contribute to code quality, organization, and best practices across development.
• Maintain and enhance software reliability and performance.
