Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Composite CNC Machinist to set and operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce carbon and metallic race car components and tooling. You will work from supplied CAD data and engineering drawings to ensure high-precision outputs.

You will also maintain programmes and tooling records, support TPM and health and safety requirements, and contribute to shop floor efficiency as part of a skilled team in our high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating multi-axis machine tools for high-precision components.
• Ability to read CAD data and engineering drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of CAM software and tooling processes is beneficial.
• Experience in motorsport or aerospace pattern work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce carbon and metal race car parts.
• Manufacture components from supplied CAD data and drawings with precision.
• Maintain programs and tooling records; support TPM and 5S practices.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and contribute to shop floor efficiency.
