Job description

Cotswold Cheltenham is looking for a Motorrad Technician Apprentice.

Your role

Joining us as an Apprentice Motorrad Vehicle Technician offers you the opportunity to thrive. You’ll develop your career with one of the world's most prestigious brands, working alongside some of the industry’s best talent.

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you’ll be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair, from routine servicing to complete component overhaul of vehicle systems. Your apprenticeship, in conjunction with the BMW Training Academy at Wokefield Park, Reading, will focus on Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, lasting three years. Upon completion, you will earn a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent). You will be partnered with a Technician who will mentor you throughout your apprenticeship.

You’ll use the latest diagnostic procedures and equipment on sophisticated electronic and computer-controlled vehicle systems. You will gain experience in wheels, tyres, steering, suspension, braking systems, service inspection, maintenance, and fault diagnosis and rectification of engine and chassis issues. Once trained, you will carry out tasks ranging from routine maintenance to full overhauls.

Your profile

Our ideal candidate: Ideally, you will have achieved grades 4-9 in Maths and English, though this is not mandatory.

Working days are Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
