Job description

Cotswold Cheltenham - Motorrad Technician Apprentice

Join us as an Apprentice Motorrad Vehicle Technician and seize the opportunity to develop your career with one of the world's most prestigious brands. Work alongside industry experts and gain hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance, from routine servicing to complete component overhauls. Your apprenticeship, in conjunction with the BMW Training Academy at Wokefield Park, Reading, will focus on Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair over a three-year programme. Upon completion, you will earn a formal qualification: Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).

You will be paired with a dedicated technician mentor and will learn to use the latest diagnostic procedures and equipment on electronic and computer-controlled vehicle systems. Your experience will include:

  • Wheels, Tyres, Steering, Suspension, and Braking Systems
  • Service Inspection and Maintenance
  • Diagnosis and Rectification of Light Vehicle Engine Faults and Chassis issues

Once trained, you will be expected to perform tasks ranging from routine maintenance to full vehicle overhauls.

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate:

  • Ideally achieved grades 4-9 in Math and English (not mandatory)

Working days are Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
