Job summary

Halfords in Basingstoke is seeking a part-time Retail Colleague to assist customers and deliver car parts fitting and cycle servicing in-store and in the car park. You will be trained to provide market-leading service across a range of motoring and cycling products.

The role requires enthusiasm for cars and bikes, a proactive sales approach, and availability to work weekends on a rota. We provide extensive training and a benefits package across discounts and wellbeing schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in a retail sales environment
• Proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
• Willingness to learn car parts fitting and cycle repair

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with car parts and cycle-related services in-store and in the car park
• Carry out car parts fitting, tech fitting, cycle building and cycle servicing as needed
• Help achieve sales targets while delivering high service standards
• Participate in training and develop practical problem-solving and efficiency skills
