About the Role
As we increase our team and continue the phenomenal expansion of our business, we are looking to recruit the best people in the industry into our workshops. The role of Motorhome Technician is key to our customers' experience and the quality service we strive to deliver. Carrying out habitation checks, PDIs, general maintenance, and motorhome accessory fitting, the ideal candidate will have experience in the industry and hold the relevant industry qualifications in both gas and electrical compliance. Continual support and training will be available to the right candidate.

Established more than five years ago, we provide sales, service, and hire to all brands of motorhomes, new and used. Across three sites, we have experienced staff and extensive workshop facilities to carry out all aspects of repair, maintenance, and accessory fitting and upgrades, from habitation and damp checks to complete mechanical and habitation repair, servicing, and friendly advice. In addition to this, we have diversified into car and light commercial vehicle sales, service and repair, as well as MoT testing.

Main Purpose of the Role
Carrying out Annual Habitation Checks on customer motorhomes in accordance with industry guidelines
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on both new and used motorhomes
Installation of accessories such as awnings, bike racks, TV aerials, air conditioning, etc
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their needs and the services provided.
Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and client interactions.
Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and client satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to the role.
Damp surveys, targeted repairs, and professional resealing
Requirements for the Role
Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong technical skills with the ability to understand complex systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Able to use provided applications to record work throughput for quality and productivity purposes.
A valid driving licence.
Relevant certifications and industry qualifications (NCC Motorhome Service Award, Gas and Electrical Maintenance is preferred)
Ideally, with experience working on Truma, ALDE, Sargent, Thetford and Dometic systems and the relevant training
