About the Role

As a Motorhome Service Technician, you'll be at the heart of keeping adventures alive. From annual habitation checks and installing accessories to diagnosing faults and prepping our hire fleet, no two days will be the same. You'll need to be confident working with gas, electrical, and mechanical systems and just as comfortable chatting with customers as you are under the bonnet. Your work will help ensure every customer drives away safe, satisfied, and ready for the road ahead.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Occasional Weekend cover
Key Duties
  • Carrying out annual habitation checks to industry and manufacturer standards
  • Installing accessories such as awnings, bike racks, TV aerials, and more
  • Diagnosing faults and conducting routine repairs and maintenance
  • Installing new equipment and ensuring it functions properly
  • Delivering excellent customer service and communicating clearly with clients
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
  • Assisting with regular upkeep and occasional valeting of hire fleet vehicles
  • Checking in returned hire motorhomes and identifying any damage
  • Occasionally washing customer motorhomes
  • Collaborating with the wider team to maintain high service standards
  • Providing technical support for hire customers out of hours
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Service Technician within the motorhome or caravan industry
  • Strong technical knowledge across gas, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Confident with installations, diagnostics, and maintenance work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Great communication skills and a team player attitude
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • Relevant certifications such as the NCC Motorhome Service Award, Gas & Electrical Maintenance (refresher training provided if needed)
  • Ideally experienced with systems like Truma, ALDE, Moving Intelligence, Thetford, and Dometic
