Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is hiring to deliver motor vehicle maintenance and repair lessons at Sunderland College until Christmas. You will teach Level 1-3 programmes, including practical workshops and theory, while maintaining safety standards in a busy workshop setting.

Essential qualifications include Level 3+ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, teaching and assessor credentials, and an enhanced DBS. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Level 3 motor vehicle qualification or higher
• Fully qualified in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET, or equivalent)
• Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or equivalent)
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Deliver Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair lessons across Level 1 and Level 2 programmes, plus Level 2/3 Apprenticeships
• Teach practical workshop sessions and classroom theory
• Demonstrate diagnostic, maintenance and repair techniques to learners
• Prepare learners for assessments, observations and coursework
• Monitor learner progress and give constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe, compliant workshop environment and promote health and safety
• Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment enabling learners to succeed
