Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd in Prestwich, Manchester is seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a large independent dealer group. You will diagnose, service and repair Ford and other brands, following approved procedures and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, with a up to £38,000 salary plus a Time Saved Bonus and a potential OTE of up to £41,000 for experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• Demonstrated automotive technician experience.
• Ideally MOT testing qualification and some main dealer experience.
• Ability to coach and develop junior colleagues and maintain high technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical advice, service and maintenance.
• Follow protocols per legislation, company and manufacturer.
• Assist senior technicians and undertake learning and development.
• Maintain timely and accurate records.
• Contribute to a supportive team culture aligned with PPA.
• Commit to ongoing learning.
• Deliver services in a resource-efficient manner.
