Job summary

Stoneacre Motor Group is seeking an experienced MOT Motor Vehicle Technician to join our state-of-the-art Renault/Dacia workshops. You will perform MOT tests, routine servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work with top manufacturers, benefit from ongoing manufacturer training, and have opportunities to advance to Senior or Master Technician levels.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Must hold a valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and ability to work in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing, servicing, repairs and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs with modern equipment.
• Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables with accurate records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and follow Health & Safety policies.
• Identify faults and communicate maintenance requirements through Vehicle Health Checks and Video Health Check processes.

Job description

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional workmanship while meeting both franchise and company standards.
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
Complete all work efficiently and accurately, meeting manufacturer, franchise and company quality standards.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and perform vehicle testing using the latest equipment and technology.
Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables while maintaining accurate records and producing clear, professional job write-ups for both customers and manufacturers.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop, following all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Identify and communicate vehicle faults and future maintenance requirements through Vehicle Health Checks and our Video Health Check process, helping customers make informed decisions.

We welcome applications from technicians with experience in the automotive industry who are passionate about delivering high-quality work.
You'll hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, together with a valid MOT Tester Licence.
You'll be a great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering an excellent customer experience.
You'll be confident working in a busy workshop environment, using your technical expertise to diagnose problems and find effective solutions.
An Electric and Hybrid qualification would be an advantage, but it's not essential-we'll provide full training and support.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
