Job description

Our client, the best motor trade employer in the North West, is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester/Technician.

Salary: £31,200 Basic

Bonus: £4000 on offer

Working Hours/Days: Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm (Rota)

Role

To conduct MOT inspections, issue MOT documentation, ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in compliance with Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and company requirements.

Responsibilities include:

1. Tyres
2. Wheel Alignment
3. Exhausts
4. Batteries
5. Welding / Cutting
6. Basic & Advanced Suspension
7. Basic & Advanced Brakes

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate must:

1. Hold a valid MOT licence
2. Have a full UK driving licence
3. Own your own tools
4. Act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your own work
5. Behave in accordance with our client's core values and principles, treating people with respect and courtesy
6. Be willing to constantly learn and improve your own performance
