Job summary

Alecto Recruitment are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician in Aldershot to join a busy workshop at a long-established family-run business. You will work on Kia vehicles and a wide range of other makes, with a focus on high-quality diagnostics, servicing and repairs.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI or City & Guilds), has experience across multiple manufacturers, and holds hybrid/EV qualifications plus air conditioning certification.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working across multiple vehicle manufacturers.
• Hybrid and EV qualifications and air conditioning certification.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle technology.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Working on Kia and a wide range of other makes.
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Completing repairs to a high standard within a busy workshop.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experienced Vehicle Technician looking for your next move?

£40,000 salary + company pension + Monday-Friday hours.

We're looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team at an established family-run business in Aldershot.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician who enjoys variety and wants to work on the full range of Kia cars as well as other makes and models.

If you're confident with diagnostics, servicing, mechanical repairs and modern vehicle technology, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults
• Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
• Working on the full range of Kia cars
• Working across multiple other vehicle manufacturers
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
• Completing repairs to a high standard
• Working efficiently within a busy workshop environment

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Level 3 qualification - IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent
• Experience working across multiple vehicle manufacturers
• Hybrid and EV qualifications
• Air conditioning certification
• Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment
• A broad range of mechanical and technical skills
• The ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently
• A full, clean UK driving licence
