Job summary

Balance Education Limited is seeking a qualified motor vehicle mechanic to train and assess apprentice learners across sites in the West Midlands. No prior teaching or assessing experience is required as full training and support is provided.

The role involves home-based office work with site visits, training apprentices and helping them build NVQ portfolios. A Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification and 5+ years industry experience are essential.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle.
• At least 5 years experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
• Keen interest to work in education.

Responsibilities

• Train and assess apprentice learners at various sites around the West Midlands.
• Support apprentices with building their NVQ portfolio.
• Assess apprentices' work in the workplace.
• Work with employers to support successful training of their apprentices.
