The post sits within the Department of Motor Vehicle and Construction. The Department provides training and assessment for apprenticeships, work placed assessments, full and part-time courses from levels 1 to 3 and Higher Education at the college's centre. The post holder will join the existing Motor Vehicle team and be responsible to the Head of Department for the area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Motor Vehicle programme, developing and producing the required teaching materials, and the relevant paperwork associated with the planning and assessing of the course. As well as this, you will be:
We are wanting to speak to candidates who hold a level 3 or equivalent qualification in an automotive discipline (NVQ or City and Guilds) as well as teaching qualifications (or the willingness to complete them). Previous teaching experience in this subject area would be advantageous.
You must be well organised, an excellent communicator, and have the ability to motivate others.
