Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join Dearne Valley College in Rotherham on a part-time, temporary basis (22.5 hours per week) from September 2026 to June 2027. The role focuses on delivering high-quality motor vehicle education and supporting learners to achieve their qualifications.

You will teach across levels, tailor your approach to each student, and actively contribute to shaping the automotive program.

Qualifications

• Must hold a teaching qualification or be working towards it.
• Must hold a Level 3+ professional qualification in Motor Vehicle.
• Experience teaching students/apprentices is required.
• Candidate should be well organised and able to manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Share industry mastery across all levels of motor vehicle qualifications.
• Tailor teaching to support every student’s journey.
• Actively shape the automotive program and department.
• Provide high-quality assessment and learning environments accessible to all.
• Be a positive, reliable mentor for the next generation of technicians.

Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Location: Dearne Valley College, Rotherham

Salary: Up to £25.14 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualification)

Vacancy Type: Temporary September 2026 - June 2027 Part Time 22.5 hours per week
