Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants seeks a passionate Motor Vehicle Lecturer for our client in Rotherham. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £33,487 (unqualified) or £38,487 (qualified) and involves delivering both practical and theory-based Motor Vehicle teaching in well-equipped workshops.

You will develop schemes of work, assess progress, and prepare learners for employment while supporting diverse learning needs and engaging with local employers.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification or above in a Motor Vehicle discipline.
• Significant industry experience within the automotive sector.
• Teaching qualification and assessor award are desirable, although support may be available.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based lessons in Motor Vehicle subjects.
• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources.
• Assess student progress through practical observations, assignments, and portfolio evidence.
• Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their full potential.
• Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships, qualifications, and industry expectations.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, engagement, and academic progress.
• Support students with individual learning needs and work collaboratively with support teams.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
