Job Role: Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Location: Redhill

Salary: £30,760 - £40,113 per annum (depending on qualifications, skills, and experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join a dynamic Technology department based in Redhill. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and the chance to teach in a supportive and forward-thinking environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds and Level 3 BTEC Motor Vehicle qualifications
  • Plan and teach a range of Motor Vehicle Service and Repair modules including PHEV, Electric Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning, and Diagnostics
  • Support students' academic and personal development as a personal tutor
  • Contribute to programme development, planning, and departmental improvement initiatives
  • Promote excellent student attendance and engagement and support learners in securing relevant work placements
Essential Requirements:
  • A Level 3 or higher qualification (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience and up-to-date technical knowledge
  • GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths
  • A minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
