Qualifications

• Qualified to teach in Further Education (FE) with PGCE/Cert Ed/DET/DTLLS/QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards one.
• Relevant industry qualifications and occupational experience in Motor Vehicle and/or Engineering disciplines.
• Experience teaching, assessing, or training within FE, apprenticeships, or workplace learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Motor Vehicle and Engineering programmes.
• Plan and prepare engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
• Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitor learner progress and implement strategies to improve achievement.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate learner records and meet awarding body requirements.
• Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships, and progression within the industry.
