Do you have experience working with motor/car parts? Are you able to perform mechanical demonstrations to show how things work? If so, this role could be for you!

About the Role

Our industry-leading training and support client is recruiting an Aftermarket Car Technical Demonstrator to lead their team in the north of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

This position involves travelling and overnight stays, so only apply if you are willing to accommodate this. The role is based in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Scheduling visits and training sessions by contacting workshops to set schedules and training times.
  2. Preparing and delivering field (on-the-job) and classroom technical presentations on products and training sessions for workshops, using a company car.
  3. Implementing trade marketing initiatives to create demand and increase recognition for premium brands.
  4. Supporting installer surveys in the field on various topics as requested by Sales, Product, Marketing, or Engineering teams.
  5. Providing technical advice, including support for installing and using DRiV products.
  6. Building and maintaining business relationships with clients and supporting a positive company image.
  7. Updating client databases and storing field data and visit reports.
  8. Searching for prospective new clients through distributive partners.
  9. Optimizing travel routes to minimize costs.
  10. Providing feedback from end-users on services and product quality.
  11. Researching trends and exploring innovative solutions for development.
Requirements
  • Strong automotive technical/mechanical background, with professional knowledge of cars, components, and operation.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical methods of parts installation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of the auto parts market.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills.
  • Willingness to work hands-on with product demos and installations.
  • Category B driving license.
  • Willingness to travel permanently within a designated region using a provided vehicle.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Information

Travel is required. Candidates must pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam.

The salary is £38,000, with quarterly and annual bonuses, and includes a company van.
