Job description

Do you have experience working with motor/car parts? Are you able to perform mechanical demonstrations to show how things work? If so, this role could be for you!

About the Role

Our industry-leading training and support client is recruiting an Aftermarket Car Technical Demonstrator to lead their team in the north of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

This role involves travel and overnight stays, so please only apply if you are willing to accommodate this. It is based in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Scheduling visits and training sessions: contacting workshops to arrange schedules and training times.
  2. Preparing and delivering technical presentations on products during field and classroom training sessions, using a company car to transfer technical knowledge and support.
  3. Implementing trade marketing initiatives to create demand and enhance recognition for premium brands.
  4. Supporting installer surveys and providing technical advice on installing and using DRiV products.
  5. Building and maintaining business relationships with clients to support a positive company image.
  6. Updating client databases and storing visit reports and field data.
  7. Identifying prospective clients through distributive partners.
  8. Optimizing travel routes to minimize costs.
  9. Providing feedback from end-users on services and product quality.
  10. Researching trends and developing innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong automotive/mechanical background with professional knowledge of cars, components, and operation.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical installation and troubleshooting methods for car repairs.
  • Knowledge of the auto parts market.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills.
  • Willingness to work hands-on with products.
  • Category B driving license.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within a designated region using a provided vehicle.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Information

Travel is required. Candidates must be willing to pass background checks, drug tests, and physical exams.

The salary is £38,000 plus quarterly and annual bonuses, including a company van.
