The Actuary, in partnership with a leading UK specialist insurer, seeks a Reserving Manager to join a high-calibre actuarial team and drive a live transformation agenda.

You will own GAAP and Solvency II reserving, quarterly reporting and regulatory sign-off while collaborating with underwriting, reinsurance, finance and claims. This is a niche motor book role backed by scale and agility, offering visibility and impact across the business.

Responsibilities

• Real influence: shape reserving output and drive a live transformation project - automation, analytics, better process
• High visibility: work directly with underwriting, reinsurance, finance and claims, reporting straight into the Head of Reserving
• Own it: manage GAAP and Solvency II reserving, quarterly reporting and regulatory sign-off
• Specialist, not standard: a niche, technically rich motor book, not vanilla personal lines
