The Peninsula MND Care and Research Network is seeking a new care co-ordinator to join their team.
We are recruiting a Band 7 professional to work within the MND team covering parts of Devon, depending on the candidate's home location. The role involves managing a caseload of MND patients independently, with opportunities to develop skills and eventually take on some clinical management of the service once confident with caseload work. Responsibilities include visiting patients at home, running MND MDT clinics, participating in MDT meetings, arranging assessments and referrals, and coordinating care for individuals with Motor Neurone Disease. The post is partly funded by the MND Association.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong clinical, communication, and presentation skills, who is interested in a role with managerial elements in the future and aims to influence MND care in the South West region.
