Job Title: Motor Mechanic / Vehicle Technician

Your Role
  • Inspect, service, and MOT the terminal van and car fleet.
  • Perform repairs on company-owned vehicles and occasional minor repairs on hired vans.
  • Utilize internal and external bespoke IT programs to log repairs and order parts as needed.
Your Profile
  • Strong work ethic and proactive approach.
  • Minimum NVQ level 3 in vehicle mechanics or equivalent, preferably as a time-served apprentice.
  • Experience in light commercial vehicle repair, MOT preparation, servicing, and repairs.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, good workload and time management, and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Experience with the latest diagnostic tools for cars and vans.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with bespoke and Microsoft systems.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt to flexible work requirements.
  • Willingness to undertake additional duties to support daily operations.
