Job summary

Gerrard White Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a growing motor insurance business in Rainham, Essex for an experienced Customer Care Team Leader to run the frontline team, ensuring high service standards and SLA attainment in a hybrid pattern (4 days in office, 1 day from home).

The role requires existing Team Leader/Manager experience in motor insurance customer care, contact centre or service environment, with hands-on leadership, coaching and a focus on new business and renewals.

Qualifications

• Must have motor insurance team leadership experience within a motor insurance customer care, service or contact centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the frontline Customer Care team and support the Customer Care Manager.
• Ensure high service standards and SLAs are met across calls, chats and emails.
• Drive new business and renewal opportunities through the team and maintain focus on retention.
• Coach and develop team members; run monthly 1-2-1s and regular team catch-ups.
• Improve processes for compliance, audit readiness and customer satisfaction.
