Davies Group in Birmingham seeks a qualified Solicitor with motor crime or criminal law experience to join its Crime & Regulatory Team. You’ll handle a diverse caseload, attend police stations, and work toward private practice pathways, collaborating with leading counsel and experts.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with motor crime or criminal law experience.
• NQ-1 PQE with 6–12 months criminal experience.
• Experience in legal aid/criminal defence highly desirable.
• Strong organisation and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Review prosecution evidence and draft statements and submissions.
• Support clients through investigations and court proceedings.
• Attend police stations and liaise with courts and witnesses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare defence material.
• Visit incident sites and gather evidence for cases.
