Job summary

Clyde & Co in Manchester is seeking a Junior Associate (2-3 PQE) for the Motor team. You will handle Multi Track and Fast Track motor claims, reporting to the Legal Director and supporting major insurer clients.

The role supports a small team with hybrid working, office 20% of the time, and full training to develop in Multi-Track work. Previous claimant or defendant firm experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Preference to experience working on Multi-Track or strong experience in Fast Track Motor claims.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently by managing time in a fast-paced environment.
• A Professional manner with the ability to build relationship internally and externally.
• Assertive and confident to managing expectations.
• Experience from claimant or defendant firms are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Acting and assisting on Multi Track Motor claims on behalf of leading Insurers.
• Handling own case load and assisting others with multi-track work, including complex Motor injury claims.
• Reporting to, liaising with and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism.
• Drafting pleadings.
• Preparing instructions to counsel and experts and attending and advising in conference.
• Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adhoc tasks as required.
